After interviewing several local custom home builders, we ultimately selected Ed Vaughn to build our lakefront retirement home—and it was one of the best decisions we made.
Because we lived in Northern Virginia throughout the build process, trust was absolutely critical. Ed exceeded our expectations in every way. He is incredibly knowledgeable, took the time to truly listen to our “must-haves,” and provided thoughtful guidance at every stage.
Building a custom home comes with countless decisions, which can quickly become overwhelming. Ed consistently recommended high-quality vendors and partners, ensuring we were always in good hands. His experience and steady approach gave us confidence from start to finish.
Our forever home not only met but exceeded our expectations. We are beyond grateful for Ed’s expertise and commitment, and we highly recommend him to anyone considering building a custom home.
If you’re on the main channel and pass by R70, look up to the hillside—you’ll see our dream home on the bluff.
