WEV Construction was founded in 1990 by builder Ed Vaughn. Ed had previously been framing houses in the Roanoke and Smith Mountain Lake area since 1987, perfecting the art of craftsmanship. After working as a framer and builder, Ed started his own company, WEV Construction, in 2000. Since then, Ed has built dozens of beautifully crafted, unique custom homes at Smith Mountain Lake.
Using local vendors and Virginia-sourced materials, WEV Construction is known for it’s attention to detail and job site cleanliness. Customers also love the 100% transparency and integrity Ed Vaughn brings to every home he builds. His customers become lifelong friends.
